Dr. Barbara Royal combines traditional western medicine with alternative medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, nutrition, supplements and herbal medicine.

Dr. Royal graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Since then she has also completed training in Acupuncture from the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, Advanced Western & Chinese Herbal Medicine at Tufts University, and Animal Physical Therapy and Healing Techniques at the University of Tennessee. She has worked in zoos, emergency animal hospitals and specialty practices. Her own practice, The Royal Treatment Veterinary Spa is a Center for Physical Rehabilitation and Alternative Veterinary Medicine.
